The steering is working through the handles with connectors #3. The front fork consists of new suspensions introduced in this set specifcally. these are very similar to the telescopic fork tubes normally seen on motorcycles as front shock absorbers. The gold color makes it also a nice eyecatcher for this set. The fork pivots through an axle with on the fork side 2 stacked triangle pieces and on the body side 2x 'Axle and Pin Connector Perpendicular 3L with 2 Pin Holes'. The angle is created by linking this to 'Liftarm, Modified Bent Thick 1 x 7 (4 - 4)'. Together with the proper positioning of the length of the fork and positioning of the rear wheel the typical 'dugged', leaning into the front wheel position of a motorcycle is nicely mimic-ed. The front wheel is finished with a realistic brack rotors on both sides, unfortunately without calipers to complete the picture. |

The V-4 engine is nicely positioned in the top-middle of the frame just below the fuel tank. The engine and the transmission are fit in a compact way inside the frame. The engine is turned 90degrees with 2 cylinders facing to the front. Because of the compact build, I think, the engine is driven by a rubber band from the 'TRANSMISSION!' later on that new phenomenon in motorcycles. Between the gearbox and engine there is a 1:1 gear ration or direct transmission via a rubberband. |

This is the first motorcycle that contains a 2 gear transmission. The transmission box is a real genius compact design with a new part 'Changeover rotary catch' introduced with the Chiron that can be turned to move the 3L driving ring left-and-right. In the computer images you can see both gears in colors green for first gear and purple for second gear. From wheel is already a velocity increase from 24:16 ratio. First gear is 1:1 totals to 1:1.5 and second gear is 12:20 totals to 1:2.5. The setup is quite clever with all the gears perpendicular to the body and the axle for the different speeds is just split in 2 with a 3L reddish brown axle with stop and a dark bluish grey 4L axle with stop. In this way a very compact gearbox was created which is operated with a lever on one side and a position fix on the other side with a knob-wheel and a lever pressed to it with another rubberband. |

This set has both front and rear wheel suspension. The front suspension is made of new released parts which are very similar to the telescopic fork tubes normally seen on motorcycles as front shock absorbers. However the rear suspension is just a regular 6.5L yellow suspension already available for years. It is a pitty they didn't use for example the spring like from set 8420 Street Bike which was a spring with 2 levels. A badass looking wide body suspension which would have fit very well with this racing monster. |

There is not a kickstand on this motorcycle, it is a racemotor stand for the rear wheel. Well design and just fits perfectly with the rear single axle model. |
